About Me
My name is Kayla Fiore (she/her), and I was born and raised in the great state of New Jersey. I am currently a second-year Theatre Studies major with a minor in Advertising, Public Relations, and Marketing Communications at Ithaca College (IC), where I am classified as a second-semester junior based on my credits. My primary focus is directing, and I am proud to be an IC Leadership Scholar, as well as the Vocalist and Communications Director for IC Premium Blend—Ithaca College’s only all-female-aligned a cappella group. I also serve as a Peer Leader in the Ithaca Seminar Peer Leader Program and as an Admissions Host with the IC Office of Admission. Through the Leadership Scholar Program, I am committed to developing my leadership skills while actively contributing to both my campus and the broader community.

Theatre is my heartbeat, and directing is where my true passion lies. Having worked on more than 20 productions, I’ve developed a deep enthusiasm for bringing stories to life on stage. As a director, my goal is to create performances that captivate audiences while offering fresh and thought-provoking interpretations of the source material. When I approach a script, I strive to make it my own—conceptualizing unique themes and crafting dynamic staging that enhances the story’s emotional impact. I find musical theatre especially inspiring, as it merges collaboration, music, and storytelling into an exhilarating creative experience.

My passion for theatre and directing runs deep, both as an artist and as an audience member. In my free time, I love going to the movies and seeing Broadway shows.
